Our story began in Denison, Texas, in the 1970s, when Ernie and Cleda Richardson opened a café built on home-cooked meals and treating people like family.
Their grandson, Chris Hix, carried that tradition forward with Little Ernie’s food truck. In 2023, Chris and his wife, Jennifer, brought Ernie’s Cafe to Colbert, Oklahoma.
Today, the family tradition lives on around our tables. Come hungry, bring the family, and make yourself at home.
